MK Publishers Ltd. is a Ugandan registered publishing firm with its head offices located at MK BOOK HOUSE, Plot 1187 Kampala - Entebbe road, 1 and 1/2 miles (2.4 km) from the city centre. The company was incorporated in 1995 (Company registration Number 29123) with the main objective among others of publishing and supplying at an affordable cost educational books and other scholastic materials suitable for the Ugandan demand and environment. This was after realising the gap between the books published by multinational publishers for the African child and the actual needs of the local demands.
