The East Africa Association of Grantmakers (EAAG) is the initiative of a group of trust and foundations working in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya who came together to form a new membership organization for grant-making bodies across the region. The founder members of the EAAG share a fundamental belief in the importance of developing a strong philanthropic sector in East Africa which can harness resources locally, hold them in trust and use them to support community development initiatives.
