The Dutch Foundation UKENGEE targets on installing computers and launching internet in East Africa, especially in areas without electricity-grid and heavy weather conditions. Conditions like dust, moist and high temperatures make it difficult to achieve those targets of installing computers and launching Internet.

TaTEDO is a sustainable modern energy organisation based in Dar es salaam, Tanzania with activities in ten (10) regions, 27 districts and 127 villages in Tanzania. The organization is a non-profit sharing entity with more than nineteen years experience actively involved in sustainable energy development projects and programmes in rural areas. It is also hosting and affiliated to several local and international sustainable energy development partners and networks. In this regard, TaTEDO is able to draw and share experiences and knowledge from such networks and partners at local, national and international levels.

Local Initiatives Support Organisation (LISO) is a local non-governmental organisation set up by people who realised that often lack of guidance, specific training or financial support were causing an otherwise good initiative to fail. LISO facilitates planning of development projects and tries to find useful contacts and/or funding for a part of the activity that the requesting party really cannot afford.

SESEDO - Sustainable Energy Services, Environment Management and Development Organisation - was officially registered in 2006 under registration No. OONGO1775 as a non-governmental organisation based in Mwanza, Tanzania. SESEDO is a grass root, non-governmental organisation, which is striving to fulfil its objectives by promoting renewable energy and other environmental related initiatives. Our goal is to have a conserved environment for Sustainable Development by promoting renewable energy and other sustainable development activities.

Research on Poverty Alleviation, REPOA, undertakes and facilitates research, conducts and coordinates training, and promotes dialogue and development of policy for pro-poor growth and poverty reduction.

PELUM Association improves the livelihoods of small-scale farmers and the sustainability of farming communities, by fostering ecological land use management. And we've being doing so for 15 years now. We are a network of over 200 civil society organisations in eastern, central and southern Africa. Through networking, research and lobbying, we are building the capacity of small-scale farmers.

PELUM-Tanzania (PTz) is a network of Civil Society Organizations (NGOs) who are working with Small holder farmers and livestock keepers on sustainable development in rural areas of Tanzania. PELUM –Tanzania is registered as an NGO by the Vice President’s Office with registration No. 1978 under NGO Act of 2002.Currently PELUM-Tanzania is made up of 35 Member Organizations, and collaborates with many partners.
