The Dutch Foundation UKENGEE targets on installing computers and launching internet in East Africa, especially in areas without electricity-grid and heavy weather conditions. Conditions like dust, moist and high temperatures make it difficult to achieve those targets of installing computers and launching Internet.
TaTEDO is a sustainable modern energy organisation based in Dar es salaam, Tanzania with activities in ten (10) regions, 27 districts and 127 villages in Tanzania. The organization is a non-profit sharing entity with more than nineteen years experience actively involved in sustainable energy development projects and programmes in rural areas. It is also hosting and affiliated to several local and international sustainable energy development partners and networks. In this regard, TaTEDO is able to draw and share experiences and knowledge from such networks and partners at local, national and international levels.
