QCIL is a state of art pharmaceutical manufacturing plant located in Luzira Uganda, QCIL is an additional contract manufacturing site for CIPLA which manufactures and sells combination therapy antiretroviral and antimalarial drugs, which have proven to be most effective in combating HIV/AIDS and malaria, two of Africa’s biggest challenges.

Medical Access Uganda Limited (MAUL) started in 1998 as a pilot project of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) in collaboration with the Government of Uganda and participating pharmaceutical companies. It has since evolved into a leading distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products in Uganda. MAUL negotiates for subsidized prices with International pharmaceutical companies for antiretroviral (ARV) therapies and other drugs and sells them at the lowest possible prices. MAUL customers for ARVS are Ministry of Health accredited treatment centers. Other customers include registered Pharmacies, Clinics and Hospitals for non antiretroviral (NARV) drugs.

Chemiphar (U) Ltd offers a large number of microbiological, chemical and physico-chemical analyses in the different sectors of food, water, beverages, environmental monitoring, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, forensic, industrial and food toxicology, and agroseeds analysis and certification.
