Rhino Fund Uganda is a non-governmental organisation established and registered in Uganda in 1997 whose sole objective is to successfully re-introduce the Rhino to Uganda. Rhino Fund Uganda represents a voluntary effort to help restore Uganda's wildlife and ensure the existence of rhinos in Uganda for future generations.

Uganda Water and Sanitation NGO Network (UWASNET) is the national umbrella organisation for Civil Society Organisations (CSO's) in the Water and Enviroment sector. It was established in 2000 to strengthen the contribution of the CSO's to the performance and developement of the sector. UWASNET is crucial in helping government realise its targets of alleviating poverty and achieving Mellinium Developement Goals (MDG's) through universal acess to safe, sustainable water and improved Sanitation. UWASNET plays this vital role in partnership with other key sector players such as Government, Developement Partners (DP's) and the private sector.membership to UWASNET currently stands at 187.

The USAID-STAR (Sustainable Tourism in the Albertine Rift) Program is supported by USAID-Uganda and implemented by the Global Sustainable Tourism Alliance (GSTA). This program seeks to reduce threats to biodiversity by addressing constraints in the tourism sector, reducing limitations for local entrepreneurs in developing tourism businesses, enhancing marketing efforts, and improving linkages between local, national, and global value chains.

PELUM Association improves the livelihoods of small-scale farmers and the sustainability of farming communities, by fostering ecological land use management. And we've being doing so for 15 years now. We are a network of over 200 civil society organisations in eastern, central and southern Africa. Through networking, research and lobbying, we are building the capacity of small-scale farmers.

PELUM Uganda is a network of non-governmental organizations in Uganda that have chosen to work together to improve the livelihoods of the poor. PELUM Uganda builds the capacity of its members so that they are better able to provide relevant and quality ecological land use services to small holder farmers. NatureUganda (NU) is the operational name of the East Africa Natural History Society (EANHS) in Uganda. EANHS is the oldest conservation NGO in East Africa, which was set up in 1909 as a scientific Organization with the aim of documenting the diversity of wildlife in East Africa.

Nature Harness Initiatives (NAHI) is a Ugandan non-governmental, not for profit conservation and development organisation that promotes market based mechanisms for improved natural resources management. Our approach is informed by the background that social and economic returns will determine how individuals manage natural resources. Wealth creation for environmental stewards is therefore a major driver behind NAHI. To that end, NAHI works with private businesses to better manage their environmental foot print and communities to derive sustained benefits from natural resources.

NAPE is a registered indigenous environmental non-governmental organization (NGO) that works on a number of environmental issues with specific focus on lobby and advocacy for sustainable use of natural resources in the areas of water and energy to ensure transparency and accountability as factors in enhancing the effectiveness of the development process.
