Women of Uganda Network (WOUGNET) is a non-governmental organisation initiated in May 2000 by several women's organisations in Uganda to develop the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) among women as tools to share information and address issues collectively.
WOUGNET's mission is to promote and support the use of ICTs by women and women organisations in Uganda, so that they can take advantage of the opportunities presented by ICTs in order to effectively address national and local problems of sustainable development.
Uganda Women Trust Limited (UWT) is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) which operates at a national level with the aim of reaching out to low income women equipping them with knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for resource mobilization and creating entrepreneurial opportunities

Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) is a pan-African Non-Governmental Organization formed in 1993 and registered in Nairobi, Kenya.
FAWE Uganda Chapter (FAWEU) was established in 1997 through the joint effort of the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES), Makerere University, NGOs and Ugandan men and women committed to equity in education and to the translation of the FAWE mandate at the national and local levels.

The Eastern African Sub-regional Support Initiative for the Advancement of Women (EASSI) is a sub-regional Civil Society Organization comprised of individuals, NGOs, Coalitions and Networks all committed to transformation of gender relations globally but mostly in the Eastern African sub-region. The Beijing Platform for Action that resulted from the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, China, is the main international agreement that frames EASSI’s work.
The Council for Economic Empowerment for Women of Africa (CEEWA)-Uganda chapter is a non- governmental, non-partisan and not for profit organization working to promote the economic empowerment of women in the development process.
