GandaAncestry.com is the brainchild of a group of US based Ugandan investors (The Ganda Group) who are committed to providing Internet based solutions to problems that are peculiar to Uganda communities. In 2004 the group contracted New Jersey based Infoma Corporation to build and operate GandaAncestry.com, the first in a family of web sites for people of African origins. GandaAncestry.com operates on a subscription basis. Subscription is open to everyone although only subscribers with Ganda ancestry may add information to the system.
